As an Exeter-based organisation, ESO’s activities are focused locally, as is the support we receive. We are not a charity and we do not receive any ‘central’ funding.
The funds needed to continue and flourish as an orchestra are provided through members’ subscriptions; ticket sales at our concerts; the kind support of our Corporate Sponsors and fees that might be payable when the orchestra is asked to play at a particular function.
The orchestra also relies on the support of volunteers, who come along to concerts and other events to help out – from ensuring that refreshments are available at the interval, to selling you a programme as you arrive, and in many other ways. If you or your business/organisation would like to become more involved with ESO, then we would love to hear from you and, as always, any support will be gratefully received.
As an individual, by coming along to our concerts you are supporting us, but you may also want to help out in other ways. As an organisation it might be that there is an opportunity to become involved in fundraising activities. Businesses may also want to get involved with us in specific projects, benefitting the local community and city.
Don’t forget you can support us very simply by telling other people how much you have enjoyed our concerts and encouraging them to come along with you to future events.
